A suspected kidnapper was beaten black and blue after she was allegedly caught trying to steal a 2-month-old baby in Imo state. According to online reports, the mother had just finished breastfeeding and lay the baby down to rest when the suspected kidnapper carried the child and began walking away. But the mother noticed what was going on and raised alarm. The incident took place on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the  Mammy market in Obinze, Owerri West, Imo state, Tosin Rosy reports.  A crowd gathered and beat up the alleged kidnapper before handing her over to the police.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has condoled with the family and friends of popular On-Air-Personality (OAP) Tosyn Bucknor, stating he was deeply saddened by her untimely death. Tosyn was found dead by her husband, Aurelien Boyer, at their home on Monday November 19th. She died from complications associated with Sickle Cell Anaemia. She was 37 years old. In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, November 21st, the Minister described Tosyn's death as a great loss to the nation's burgeoning creative industry, where she excelled in her lifetime. A 74-year-old man has been taken into custody for allegedly raping a teenage girl in Warri, Delta state. The man, identified as John Obi, allegedly forcefully had sex with the 14-year-old girl and infected her with a sexually transmitted disease. Activist Israel Joe took to Facebook to expose the incident while revealing that the case is about to hit a dead end because the girl’s parents want an out of court settlement with the suspect. 17-year-old actress,  Tito Segun-Banjo , has been declared missing by her family. In an interview with LIB, Tito's mum, Wemimo Segun-Banjo, said her daughter who featured in Omoni Oboli's Wives on Strike, the Revolution, left their home in Ipaja, Lagos state on Saturday November 17th to run some errands for her dad and has since not returned home. Efforts to reach her has failed as her phone is currently switched off ''She left the house on Saturday to run errands for her dad and has since not returned home. I have tried reaching her but her number is not responding. I am afraid. Bow Wow has taken to social media a number of times to threaten suicide and most times people just assumed he was seeking attention but his former fiancee, Erica Mena has made a troubling revelation. Erica and Chad Moss, better known as Bow Wow, have been dragging each other on social media after Bow Wow blasted Erica and told fans that she was a "thot". During the argument, Erica exposed a number of things, including that Bow Wow attempted suicide while her son was nearby.  Erica told fans that the reason she broke up with Bow Wow was "because he tried to kill himself with my son in the house." A 25-year-old Nigerian man on Monday was arrested in Modena Italy for allegedly slapping and seriously injuring a 32-year-old man on November 9.   The victim, who is also from Nigeria, reported severe brain damage and is in a coma at the hospital of Baggiovara.   The suspect was identified thanks to surveillance cameras at the scene of the attack, investigators said. He has been living in Italy since 2015 and was granted a residency permit for humanitarian reasons.   The suspect had applied for asylum in Gubbio and had worked at a factory near Modena until three months ago but was currently jobless and homeless, investigative sources said.  

A man has been arrested after he allegedly disfigured his teen househelp because she refused to let him continue raping her. According to Bosinde Araikpe who shared the news on social media, Mr Elijah Okorafor from Aruchukwu in Abia state, has been forcefully having sexual intercourse with his maid, a teenager, at his home on Genesis Street in Nkpor Area of Rumuorlumeni, Port Harcourt. On the fateful day he brutalized the girl, he tried to rape her as usual but the girl refused and he battered her until her face was swollen and her eyes shut. This happened in April. He then sent her away from his home.  Mr Okorafor has now been arrested. A man who savagely attacked his ex-girlfriend and beat her beyond recognition after she broke up with him, has been jailed for  28 months. The man identified as   Jake Bushell   left   Jade Gallagher   with multiple injuries after he showed up at her home drunk and high on cocaine. According to UK Mirror, Mr. Bushell, launched the “despicable” attack on her  October 21 as he wouldn’t take no for an answer when Jade announced she was done with the relationship. Before his arrest, the 22-year-old was already subject to a court order for stalking Miss Gallagher and using a ladder to creep into her room in the middle of the night. According to the Chronicle Live, Bushell, who appeared to sneer at the camera in his mugshot, has been jailed for 28 months and banned from contacting his victim indefinitely. A few days ago a heavily pregnant mentally challenged teenager was rescued from the street.   The teenager was spotted roaming around Enugu - Agidi junction Amawbia, Awka Capital Territory by the state commissioner for Children and Women Affairs, Ndidi Mezue, and she immediately mandated the evacuation team to evacuate the young lady.     The team swung to action and rescued the scantily clad young lady. She was then taken to Community Children Home Awka where arrangement has been made for a psychiatrist to commence evaluation of her mental state and subsequent rehabilitation as she awaits her due date of delivery. Efforts to locate her family has already commenced.
